International flight operations are set to commence at Gaya International Airport from October 10. With this development, Bodh Gaya is expected to see a surge in foreign tourists. International tourists are expected to pour out in the holy town after the end of Pitru Paksha.
The Gaya Airport Authority has released the schedule for domestic and international flights. Thai Airways will start operations on October 10, followed by Myanmar National Airlines on October 16, Myanmar Airways International on October 30, Bhutan Airlines on November 16, and Drukair on December 2.
