Barbieand the supernatural horror film Talk to Mehave been banned in Kuwait to safeguard "public ethics and social traditions," according to the express news agency Kuna. Barbiehas been accused of promoting inappropriate behaviour and debauch societal standards by Lafi Al-Subaie, the head of Kuwait's film censorship committee.
In Lebanon, the movie has come under fire for allegedly “promoting homosexuality”. Tradition Minister Mohammad Mortada, backed by the influential political party and militant team Hezbollah, claimed that the film supports homosexuality and sexual transformation, “going against the values of faith and morality”. Margot Robbie has politely declined Hugh Hefner's give to pose naked for Playboy magazine.
'The Wolf Of Wall Street' star, who caused a cinematic stir by opting to shoot a full-frontal scene in Scorsese's latest film, told New Zealand radio station The Edge that she'd simply `put her family through enough` to accept the year-old's sleaze-laced offer.
However, she added, she has no regrets about baring all for the Academy Award-nominated movie, in which she stars as Leonardo DiCaprio's character Jordan Belfort's wife Naomi Lapaglia. Meanwhile, Robbie has already scored a cover spot on the cover of Vanity Fair's coveted Hollywood issue.
