Pride San Antonio began in as Gay Pride SA when a small group of individuals decided to a PRIDE festival that would be designed by the community at-large, for the community at-large, and about the community at-large.

Inspired by the words of their own Carlos Vela, this group founded an company that would “facilitate the needs of individuals so that individuals can facilitate the needs of the community.” Since , this organization has grown tremendously and continues to stay up to the words of Carlos Vela.

The purpose for which Pride San Antonio is formed is to instill pride, commemorate unity, embrace diversity, and recognize the contributions of the Gay, Lesbian, Pansexual, and Transgender community in the San Antonio metropolitan area. This will be accomplished by creating representation and promoting full human and civil rights through education, celebrations, and networking to the extent allowed by

Are you ready for our Annual Pride River Parade & Celebration?

Visit San Antonio created the Event River Parade to promote the city's inclusion, encouragement, and support of the LGBTQ+ community to inhabit openly with equal rights.

This year, Pride&#x;s bringing a little more kick. The Rainbow Rodeo theme celebrates San Antonio&#x;s Texas roots and LGBTQ+ pride in full, bold color. From decked-out floats to cowboy flair, this parade is part party, part spectacle and all heart.
